We are located closest to the flagship at 6565 Fannin Street inside the Texas Medical Center. Our homes sit roughly one to six miles from that campus, which is close enough for an early appointment and far enough to be quiet at night.
If your appointment is at Methodist Sugar Land, The Woodlands, Clear Lake, Baytown, Cypress, West Houston or Willowbrook, it is a longer commute from our properties. Everything below assumes you are coming to the Methodist campus at Fannin Street.

We had two truly wonderful stays at Luxurway's rental houses in Houston, TX! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and completely at home. The houses we stayed in were clean, well maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Our hostess went above and beyond with her hospitality - She was warm, responsive, and genuinely cared that we had the best experience possible.
The home we ultimately rented was in a gorgeous neighborhood and was very nice and clean. The few minor things that I messaged about were immediately met with concern and were taken care of in a very timely manner. The kindness and care shown by the management team definitely goes above and beyond. We were very comfortable there and had access to so many nearby restaurants and shopping options.

- Reserve and move in Complete the reservation and move in. Utilities are already running and the kitchen, beds and Wi-Fi are ready, which matters if you are coming straight from a discharge.
- Extend if recovery runs long Recovery rarely runs to the schedule anyone predicted. You can extend at the same rate, subject to availability
Not attending Methodist?
Houston Methodist is one of more than fifty institutions inside the Texas Medical Center, and plenty of people end up attending two of them on the same trip. The same houses serve all of it.

Between roughly one and six miles. All are a drive, and parking at the house is included so the car is not sitting in a garage overnight. Name the building on your appointment letter and we will tell you which house sits nearest it.

Several, including properties with a ground floor bedroom and no stairs to the front door. Say so when you inquire and we will only show you homes that fit, because it is not always obvious from a listing photo.

No. Thirty nights is the minimum. For a shorter stay, a hotel near the Medical Center is the better answer and we will say so rather than take the booking.

Usually. Surgical stays are often covered under a policy and employers sometimes fund a recovery period. Say who is paying in your first message and we will send the forms that payer asks for.

Sometimes. Some families are placed here under an insurance policy, and some arrange support through a charity or a hospital social worker. We can invoice a third party directly if that is how it is being paid. Ask your care team what is available to you, and ask us for whatever paperwork they need.

The homes are furnished with utilities already running, so the limit is paperwork rather than preparation. Tell us the date and we will tell you the same day what is open. Families have moved in within 48 hours when an admission was brought forward.
